The everyday plumbing that keeps a house running
Alongside boiler and heating work, I take on general plumbing repairs across Stowmarket and the surrounding Suffolk villages. That means the ordinary jobs every home needs sooner or later: taps that drip or seize up, toilets that won't flush or won't stop running, weeping joints and leaking fittings, and ball valves that have given up in a tank or cistern.
I also fit and replace outside taps, sort out leaking waste pipes and traps, and carry out small pipework alterations — moving a supply for a new appliance, capping something off, that sort of thing. It's all done by me personally, with the same care as a full boiler installation. One thing I don't cover is blockages — blocked drains, toilets or wastes are a job for a drainage specialist, and I'll say so straight away rather than charge you to find out.
Small jobs are genuinely welcome. A good number of my customers first called about a dripping tap and have stayed with me for servicing and boiler work since. There's no call centre, no minimum-charge games — just an honest quote before any work starts.

Often, yes — if the parts are standard and the diary allows. Describe the problem when you call and I'll be straight with you about timing. If it needs a part ordering in, I'll tell you that up front too.
I'm a sole trader, not a 24/7 call centre — but call me. If I can help quickly I will, and if I can't I'll say so straight away rather than leave you waiting. For anything with water pouring through a ceiling, turn off the stop cock first, then ring.
