It's not a status automatically granted to every Gas Safe engineer — it requires specific Vaillant product training and a commitment to installing to their specification.
The most important benefit for you is the extended manufacturer warranty. Through a standard installer, Vaillant's warranty is typically two to five years. As an Accredited Installer, I can offer extended warranties of up to 10 years — registered directly with Vaillant on the day your boiler is commissioned.
This is a Vaillant manufacturer guarantee — not a third-party warranty or an insurance policy. It means Vaillant themselves are backing the product with their own warranty terms, through an engineer they have verified and approved. If a fault develops within the warranty period, you have the full weight of the manufacturer behind you.

The ecoTEC Pure is Vaillant's entry-level offering — solid, dependable, and a sensible choice for straightforward like-for-like replacements in smaller properties or situations where budget is the primary consideration. It delivers the same quality of manufacture and Gas Safe compliance as the rest of the range, with a simpler feature set and a lower upfront cost. A reliable workhorse where the extra features of the Plus aren't needed.
